Homework
Reading and phonics is a key focus for children in Year 2 and we would appreciate it if you could read once a day with your child and record this in the reading diary. We are focussing on reading fluency and understanding. Please could you send your child with their reading diary everyday so that we can record what your child has read and tips to help your child improve their reading.
Don’t forget to practise your phonics and spell out tricky words.
You also have access to Purple Mash, TTRockstars and Active Learn, we will ask you to log in and practise what what we have been learning about every week on one of these websites.
PE
Our PE day is on a Wednesday.
As we might be outside, make sure you are warm enough.
Jewellery should be removed and earrings should be taped or taken out.
